3. Ásgardur / DalbærIn the Bæir area the local youth group built the assembly house Ásgardur, which was formally opened in 1940. It was built with driftwood from the Strandir coast. Now, in 2003, only the chimney remains; a new assembly house was built next to it in 1973 and was called Dalbær.
